Services

Four service lines. Each with a specific buyer, a specific problem, and a specific deliverable.

Churchtown Media is not a generalist agency. We work with a small number of clients at any one time and we are selective about which engagements we take on.

01

Technical SEO & AI Search Architecture

For organisations whose web presence is structurally invisible to both search engines and AI inference systems.

Who it is for

Marketing directors and CTOs at mid-size organisations who need a second opinion they can trust.

The problem

The site exists. It may even have had SEO work done. But it is not performing. And increasingly, the question is not only whether Google can find it. It is whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot can accurately describe what the organisation does, who runs it, and what it offers. Most cannot. Structured data, entity authority, and content architecture for AI citation are not the same as traditional SEO. The gap between the two is where most sites fail.

The approach

Crawl architecture, structured data implementation, entity mapping, content gap analysis relative to both search intent and AI citation signals, canonicalisation, page speed. The deliverable is a document that tells you exactly what to do, in what order, and why. For search and for AI search.

Deliverable

Written audit report. AI search visibility assessment. Prioritised roadmap. Optional implementation engagement at a separate day rate.

£600–£750/day

Headless Development Consultancy

For organisations that have been told they need a rebuild and want someone who understands both layers.

Who it is for

The person who has had three agency quotes and does not trust any of them. Usually a director or CTO who suspects something is off but cannot articulate what.

The problem

A rebuild has been recommended. The quotes range from £15,000 to £80,000. The proposals all reference different platforms, different timelines, and different success metrics. Nobody has explained why their approach is right for this specific organisation.

The approach

Architecture decision-making before any agency is commissioned. CMS selection, hosting infrastructure, data structure, integration requirements, performance targets. I give you the scoping document and technical brief that a competent agency needs to price accurately, rather than letting agencies define the scope themselves.

Deliverable

Technical architecture document. CMS selection rationale. Scoped brief for agency RFP. Optional: build the project myself if appropriate.

£700–£900/day

Digital Footprint Intelligence

Mapping an organisation's public digital exposure before a significant event, including what AI systems currently say about it.

Who it is for

Professional services firms, legal practices, communications consultancies, and PE-backed organisations managing sensitive mandates.

The problem

A significant event is approaching. An appointment, a transaction, a merger, a public filing, a regulatory matter, a press inquiry. The organisation needs to know what its public digital exposure looks like before someone else maps it. In 2026, that includes what AI systems (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot) will say about your organisation, your principals, and your structure if asked. Most organisations have no idea. Some of what AI systems infer is wrong. Some is accurate but should not be easily findable.

The approach

The SIBA methodology applied commercially. Systematic mapping of publicly available digital information: web presence, structured data, corporate registry data, press archive, social footprint, third-party data sources. AI inference audit: what do major AI systems currently describe about your organisation, and is it accurate, incomplete, or a liability? Written as a defensible report.

Deliverable

Written digital footprint report. AI inference summary. Exposure annotation. Recommendations for remediation where relevant.

£1,200–£1,500/day
04

AI Infrastructure Advisory

For organisations that need to understand and manage how AI systems are accessing, consuming, and representing their infrastructure.

Who it is for

CTOs and digital directors at organisations with significant web presence, content assets, or proprietary data that AI crawlers are actively indexing.

The problem

There are now more than a dozen identifiable AI crawlers systematically hitting web infrastructure: GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Amazonbot, ByteSpider, Google-Extended, and others. Most organisations have no crawler policy, no Cloudflare rules managing this traffic, no understanding of how much bandwidth these systems consume, and no position on whether their content should be used for AI training. Meanwhile, Cloudflare's AI bot management capabilities are largely unconfigured on most deployments, and the attack surface that AI systems create is not being actively managed.

The approach

AI crawler audit and policy design. Cloudflare WAF configuration for AI traffic. robots.txt strategy for AI systems. Bot traffic analysis and separation from legitimate user traffic. Attack surface review through an AI lens: what is your organisation inadvertently exposing to systems that are mapping it? Rate limiting architecture for AI-scale request volumes.

Deliverable

Written AI infrastructure report. Crawler policy document. Cloudflare configuration recommendations. robots.txt revision. Attack surface summary.

£700–£900/day

How we work

The engagement process

01

Initial conversation

Tell us about your organisation and the challenge. If it is the right fit, we will say so. If it is not, we will tell you that too.

02

Scoping

A defined scope, timeline and deliverable agreed before any work begins. No open-ended engagements without clear endpoints.

03

Delivery

The work, done to the standard the scope specifies. Written, referenced, and defensible.

04

Review

A conversation about the findings and next steps. Implementation is a separate engagement if required.

If this is the right fit, get in touch.

Tell us about your organisation, the challenge, and the timescale. We will respond directly.
